Welcome to the Center for P.E.A.C.E. & Community
The Center for P.E.A.C.E. (Peace Through Ethical Action and Creative Education) & Community is a retreat center and community education space in Bath, Maine. Groups come here to slow the pace, focus on the work that matters, and connect without distractions. The setting supports board retreats, trainings, small conferences and community programs across Midcoast Maine.

The Center provides space for nonprofits, educators, community groups, and retreat leaders. We host board retreats, trainings, workshops, wellness retreats, and small conferences in a setting with flexible meeting rooms, comfortable overnight accommodations for retreats, and an atmosphere shaped by peace, sustainability, equity, and community.

Spaces Designed for Gathering
The Center makes it easy to move from focused work to shared meals and quiet reflection. Each area is simple, adaptable, and comfortable, balancing the practical needs of meetings with the calm atmosphere of a Midcoast Maine retreat center. As a community education space, the design encourages conversation, collaboration, and renewal, so your gathering feels both productive and restorative.

Several rooms seat 8–10 each, designed for private meetings or small group discussions.

Staying Overnight
Five bedrooms, each with a private bath and a queen-size bed. Three of the five have single sofa beds.

Everything You Need for a Smooth Retreat
Amenities at the Center are designed to make retreats and gatherings run smoothly, without extra hassle. The building is equipped with central air for year-round comfort, tables and chairs to configure as needed, and tableware for up to 24 guests. For presentations and workshops, a whiteboard, projector, and televisions are available, supported by reliable Wi-Fi throughout the space. On-site parking is included, with eight overnight spaces reserved for retreat guests, and additional parking can be arranged as needed.
